Using Photomerge for Focus Stacking

Hi there, following guidance found on youtube, I use Photomerge Group Shot for focus stacking. It works, but while editing the images I do not get a real 100% view and it appears the output is automatically scaled down to 25% of the original size. What's going wrong? Any settings I overlooked?
