wavy edges???

I've had this program for about a month, but for some reason now when I open a file in the editor, it appears "condensed" with straight edges appearing wavy.  When I open the same file in Windows Photo everything is normal.  Do I need an update or to change a setting?  Nothing else on my pc has changed, other than the normal Windows Updates.

Suggest that you reset preferences to default. To do that, in Editor>Expert tab, go to Edit>Preferences>General and look for this:
