Question

What Are PSE 2025 Organizer CAHeadless Log Files

I recently scanned my C drive using Disk Savvy Pro and discovered that one of the largest users of space on my C drive was C:\Users\Ted\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\25.0\CAHeadless. It contains 14.4 GB of readable text formatted LOG files. There are 519 files of this type in the directory. Here is a typical example of the filename: CAHeadless_e060d772-1786-42b4-b5d1-a9be3852b40e.log.

  1. Are these files needed for the normal operation of the PSE 2025 Organizer?
  2. Can I delete them?

Yes, Walter.  I also noticed these files as space hogs recently.  You can safely delete them.  But make sure it's only the .log files that are deleted.  The folder may contain other files and I have not examined whether or not they are needed.

Thanks, Greg! I just found out that the CAHeadless LOG files are created or used by the Organizer's Auto Creations utility. I selected all of them for deletion and got this message:
