When did Adobe change the desktop interface

I recently tried a trial version of PSE 2021 and find the desktop interface hard to use.,..icons are smaller and hard to see. I like my my 2015 version because it is easy to see icons. When did Adobe change the interface?

Try this:

In the Editor, go to Edit>Preferences>Display & Cursors, set the UI Scale Factor to Large-200% and restart Photoshop Elements.

    Thanks for input. I tried that and in the editor a portion of the editing icons were off the bottom of the page. However I will check it out again to be sure.
