Question

Whenever I try to draw, it only scrolls.

I have looked this up and there were no answers to what I have found. I also contacted Wacom to see if there was an issue with the tablet, but I concluded that it is just PS Elements 14 that I am having trouble with.

Basically, whenever I try to draw, the program scrolls as if I was using the hand tool. This is not the problem there the space bar gets jammed or anything, I have tried it. I can do everything except draw, erase, or anything involving with directly editing the canvas.

I have found out that if I double tap quickly, on the second click I can draw. But once I let go, it revers back to scrolling.

I have the latest update installed, my pen settings are at default, my tablet settings are at default, so the only reason I can think of is that there is an issue with the program. What can I do?

There is a reddit post where a windows ink developer has solved the issue!!!

1.Open command Prompt in start menu 2.Paste this - reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pen /v LegacyPenInteractionModel /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

3.Press enter

4.Done (basically this will disable pen features that were set in Windows Fall Update ,which causes the whole issue in the first place.

I'm currently having this issue in the latest Photoshop CC and I have homework due. Anyone figured out what it could be?

Same issue, but in PS Elements 12.

I've discovered that if I use the double click button/set the nib to double click, I can draw, BUT... I don't see the line til I lift the stylus.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers and restarted in various combinations.

I've swapped USB ports.

Thing is, it works fine in other applications, just not in PSE.

If the newest Wacom driver doesn't help, try older drivers.
