Which files to remove before upgrading to Elements 15?

I am going to upgrade from Elements 11 to 15. I have read Adobe's 'How To' guides on the subject but I'm still confused about which files to remove before installing the new version. the guides talk about uninstalling 11, but this only seems to remove Elements. Do you need to remove Organiser files as well?

Also, is there any point in manually deleting some files, if so which ones?

Some help with this would be very useful

There is no compelling reason to uninstall Elements 11 when installing Elements 15. Both softwares are independent. On my main computer I have versions 6,10,12,14 and 15 still active. New versions often skip features of older versions, so keeping old ones is a frequent choice.

Uninstalling is possible, which means both the editor and the organizer will be uninstalled. Your catalogs will remain after the uninstall and be available for conversion to the new format. If you decice to uninstall (to save disk space for instance, first deactivate (also called 'sign out') to keep your license ready should you reinstall on another computer.

Deleting manually some files is rarely required. Uninstalling from your OS should be enough. In rare cases with compatibility problems to OS updates, it may be necessary to use the Adobe CCleaner utitilty. That's only when other troubleshooting steps don't work.
