which is better? [Adobe Chat or the forums?]

I am wondering if it is better to use the Chat, or is it best if I do the Forum, I am very new and I am having so many problems. I can't seem to get any answers in the Forum, so I was wondering if maybe I should use the Chat, which I tired, and the person had to stop and get help, he did not know how to answer the question, this whole episode to about 2-1/2 hours.
