WHY ARE YOU BLOCKING ME FROM USING MY PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 13?

Three days ago, Adobe blocked me from using Media Encoder.  I had to reinstall it and it took 3+ hours.  Today, Adobe is blocking me from using Photoshop Elements 13.  Now I'm told I need to reinstall that program as well. I run a freelance business. I can't keep stopping work to reinstall programs. Why is it so hard for Adobe to remember that I have PAID for my use of their software?
