Why do I have to keep signing in every time I open photoshop elements 2024?

I bought Photoshop Elements 2024 off the Windows Store, but every time I open it it keeps asking me to connect to the internet and sign in with my Adobe ID. If I have paid for Photoshop Elements I should be able to use it without having to connect to the internet (as this wasn't in term and conditions, will Adobe refund me?) and surely I shouldn't have to keep signing in with my Adobe ID?

It's nothing to do with cookies, I've not changed any settings.

Is this just a way for Adobe to force an upgrade to 2025 to increase there profits?

Where I wouldn't encase this happens in the 2025 version.

If any one else has this problem and can help me please comment below, I would be keen to see if Adobe bury or lock this post, no doubt their soloution will be because of cookies.

Thanks, Peter.

Correct answer Greg_S.

Licenses purchased through the Windows store are handled through Microsoft.  I suggest you contact Microsoft Support.

This is a user-to-user forum. Nobody here can help you with a purchase complaint or request for refund. We suggested what to do to resolve your issue. If you want to shoot the messenger, that's fine, but it's not going to resolve anything for you. Glenn has given you a Microsoft link. If you want an answer from Adobe, here it is:

The Microsoft Store handles the download, installation, licensing, and updating of all products purchased through it. If you encounter an issue with an Adobe product during one of these four processes, visit http://www.support.microsoft.com.

This shouldn't be happening and there should be a simple solution. Do you always attack the people your asking for help from?

Greg_S. is just stating a simple fact: Problems with the Windows Store apps need to be addressed by the Windows Store.

Why is it down to a third party, ie Windows Store to resolve an issue with an Adobe product?
