Why Does Elements default to a 4x6 photo?

Almost everytime I try to print from Elements, it defaults to printing 4x6, regardless of what it says in Print Setup. I have to go into Printer Settings and change everything, again, and then it only works sometimes. 

Is there a way to set my own defaults? I have a lot of issues with the choices the program makes, and it only gets worse with each update...
