Question

Why is this program a piece of crap?

I have used other versions for years and years. I spent $150 on this and have not been able to use it successfully ever! Recently I was asked to do a slideshow for a memorial service and I had to use another program. I attempted to do a straight no frills just picture to picture no music anything and it would not burn for anything in the world! I searched for updates on the program and it says I am up to date. From what I have googled online, I am not alone with my issues with this program.

Are you on a Mac? FYI, DVD burning with 2019 is now a Windows only feature. I don't know why.

Refer last line of the features list here:

As Greg says, give us more information and we'll try and give you some answers.

What have you discovered during your Googling? Can you share some links? There are a lot of valid gripes out there and a lot of misinformation.

If you've come here to vent, there's not much anyone here can do to help you.  If you would like to give us some details about the problems you are having, perhaps we can give you some guidance to solve them.

For a start, we need to know what version you are talking about and what is your computer's operating system.

I'm assuming that you purchased both PSE and PRE.  If so, were you making a slideshow with Premiere Elements or using the Slideshow tool in the Organizer? What were the steps you used to burn the DVD and at what stage did the process fail?
