No answers from photoshop,no answers from Apple ....just a simple answer Yes we know but it is what it is

Quite irresponsible answer ....

Correct answer Phinny

In order for Adobe products to run smoothly, Adobe must build them following strict guidelines set down in computer makers operating system’s (OS) and hardware specs. Makes sense right? In your case that’s Apple and Mac OS. So PSE 2022 has worked on your computer ever since you installed it until now.

In other words, the OS you used before your upgrade actually liked your PSE 2022. The one you just installed doesn’t. It’s a shame Apple doesn’t build backward compatibility into new products but that’s how they roll. Always do your homework before installing free upgrades because they can sometimes lead to painful consequences.

This is going to make you mad:

Tahoe thinks PSE 2022 is newer than PSE 2026.  You are simply out of luck, PSE 2022 will not work with tahoe.
Adobe will not "update" PSE 2022 to make it work with Tahoe.  It shouldn't:  PSE 2022 is no longer supported.
Apple will not change anything.
There are no "work arounds"

PSE 2022 simply will not work with Tahoe- you can stop trying.

Here is a link to a free 7 day trial, give it a try.  Previous registered users are generally offered $20 at checkout- which would make it only $79 fpor a three year liscense- that works out to $2.19 a month- give or take.

Three years after you download it the program will stop working.  "perpetual  / forever" liscenses are a thing of the past.
No, your "perpetual liscense" will not apply to pse 2026, nor will you get a free upgrade to pse 2026.

I’m really disappointed my 2022 version is not compatible with Tahoe. I do not want to buy a new version or subscribe to CC or another site to be able to create designs and digital scrapbook layouts, Not a good move Apple.
