Will Elements 2020 work with Panasonic G9 Mk2

Hi Everybody.

I am buying a Panasonic Lumix DG- G9 Mk2 camera.

Will my Elements 2020 work with the G9 Mk2, or will I have to upgrade to Elements 2024 ?

Adobe Camera Raw in my Elements 2020 is version 12.

Hi All

Thank you all for your help. Today 19-08-2024 I have now bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024, so all is now good.T

There is no longer anyneed to respond to my original request for help.

Once again I thank everyone. Please consider this request closed.

Camera Raw 16.4 works here with Photoshop Elements 2020 running on Windows 10.

Did you copy over the Camara Raw.8bi plus the 5 .dll files?

I didn't mess with the dll's, I will give it a try in the next day or two and let you know.

You can upgrade the PSE 2020 Camera Raw plugin to 16.4 by following the directions in this thread:

I've never been able to get anything higher that 14.5 to work in pse 2020. I actually have the 8bi file for 16.4 installed in pse 2020- but when I open a pix with it it only shows acr 14.5

What operating system are you using?

You might be able to just upgrade the existing Camera Raw in PSE 2020 without having to buy PSE 2024.
