Windows Surface Pen does not work in Photoshop Elements 2024

Question

I just got a HP 360 computer and Surface 2.0 pen. It works great with the full version of Photoshop and other programs and it has pressure sensitivity with every other program I have tried. However in Photoshop Elements 2024 the pen does not have pressure sensitivity and also if I try to write in the top left corner of the screen the pen does not work at all. Is there any settings I need to change to make it work? FYI, I have tried the 2021 program an older Surface, and it also does not work with the old Surface pen.

I have 2024. I found this for 2021. The settings are a little different for 2024, but I was able to get my surface pen to a usable state, i.e., photoshop aligned to the point of contact rather somewhere else.
