I have very recently purchased Adobe Photoshop. My operating system is Windows 10. I did the purchase by clicking on a link wich poped up from my already installed. One other question is why did adobe let me buy the latest version wich can not be installed in my operating system. Can't I get the oleder version without buying anything additional. Adobe should have not allowed me to buy the Photoshop version, the latest, as my operating system Windows 11. How can I get any new or older Photoshop version run on my Windows 10. What solution can Adobe give me.

What do you have exactly purchased? Photoshop or Photoshop Elements?

In case you have buyed Photoshop you have a subscription. Here are the access to older, supported versions of Photoshop included.  Install previous versions of Creative Cloud apps

Which exact version of Windows 10 do you have installed?

All recent Photoshop versions (include Photoshop Elements) are compatible with Windows 11 AND Windows 10 22H2. Photoshop Elements is also comptible with older versions of Windows 10 and Windows 7.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 9 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

Hi @Janananda_Laksiri9640

I’m really sorry to hear about the frustration this has caused — I completely understand how upsetting this experience can be.

To clarify first: the latest version of Photoshop is compatible with Windows 10, but only with specific Windows 10 builds. Currently, latest version of Photoshop is supported on:

  • Windows 10 version 22H2
  • Windows 10 version 21H2 LTSC

If your system is running an older Windows 10 version (for example 1909, 2004, 20H2, etc.), the latest Photoshop version may not install or function correctly. You can check your Windows version by typing winver in the Windows search bar and sharing the version/build number shown.

Using an older Photoshop version

  • Your existing subscription already includes access to older, supported versions of Photoshop — there is no additional cost.
  • You can install a compatible version by opening the Creative Cloud desktop app > Photoshop > Other versions.
  • For reference, here is the complete list of Photoshop system requirements: https://adobe.ly/4jpMC5z

Please share your Windows 10 version details, and I’ll be happy to help you find the best possible solution. Hope this helps.

Regards,

Srishti

Above are the information of my billing. I am really upset over getting billed for a software version that is not compatible with my operating system, Windows 10.
