years ago I downloaded photoshop el 13 in my mac, now I downloaded in my pc

but when I try to open the dmg file I have been asked how I want to open this file and I don't know what to do, can anybody please help?

First get some jargon straight.

Downloading means getting data from the internet onto you machine or v.v.

No you cannot use dmg on a pc.

I have no idea why support told you that: that is stupid.

If you want Elements on you PC you need to download (trial or buy) from the internet.

Photoshop Elements for PC from Adobe website (latest version)

Then you can install the program on your PC.

dmg is a typical mac file, you cannot use that on a pc.
