Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 - Error Message: "... incompatible display driver"

On opening APE 2021, I see an error message saying that I have an incompatible display driver. (see image attached).

Per some posts on similar issues I have updated all my drivers direct from Dell and Intel, but no luck.

The result is that when I open a project I am not able to see clips playing in the preview window. I can hear the sound and see the cursor line moving along the timeline as usual.

I am running on a Windows 10 Laptop with all Windows updates also completed.

Is there anything I can do?

If it were me, I would get some Adobe tech help through the chat system here:  https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen

Moving thread to the Premiere Elements forum from Using the Community

    Hi,

I have received a direct message from someone claiming to be Adobe Support. They want me to email them using AdobeIncCare@Outlook.com. Seems suspicious that Adobe would use an Outlook.com address. Can you tell me if this is likely a scam or to be trusted please?

    Thanks!

    Hi

It's a scammer, do not reply to them, you can report them to phishing@adobe.com.
