Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 - Preview Window - size of the bar???

I can't change the size of the bar which represents the part of the video clip on the timeline in APE2024

 

Here you can see Preview window in APE2021 and those 2 elements that I use to chance size of the bar. 

 

 

They are not visible in Preview window in 2024

Besides, is it finally possible to change the default size of Preview window? It is too small and I need to resize it each time I open it.

Hello Friend

Seems like you have been researching a lot with APE2024. Last year I have upgraded to 2023 and I was very disappointed with the performance. Can you kindly shed some light on the performance improvements? It looks like you have both version installed in your computer. 

 

The reason I am asking you this, is because I want to know, would this be a good investment to upgrade?

    Can you be more precise about what you mean by performance improvement?   

     

    Adobe offers free trials.  You get several days to use it on your computer where you can measure the performance with your own gear.

    If you check this post out, you'd know how bad 2023 was. That was my point.

    You can not change the default size of the Preview window in Premiere Elements.

    That is very inconvenient and now I can’t even change the size of the bar in the Preview window

     

    Adobe is advertising “fresh look” of APE2024 and simple things still are not working as they should.
