          Every time I export a file from Premiere elements 15 it selects My Documents folder for me by default.  How can I change that? I'm not seeing any options under preferences or settings.

HelloI was sent a .MOV file which I have converted to an MP4. When I open that MP4 clip on my desktop (Windows 10), I can hear the audio. But when I open Premier Elements 11 | Add Media, the video of that movie clip plays but there is no audio: there are no green layers on the Audio 1 track on the Timeline and I am hoping to correct that, please?Other audio on the same Timeline in this same project play fine.ThanksSteve

I tried to load my video from camera to pc . I got this message " Cant load Adobe Photo Downloader.  What to do?

i have adobe premiere elements 10.  when i insert text, it won't allow me to put in a simple font only; say arial, or calibri.  it used to allow that.  it now ALWAYS has some "fancy" text style selected.  you can select any certain font to be used, but it will be in some one of the styles; ie, one of those style boxes is always highlighted.  how can i get it so that no style box is highlighted?   can i reinstall the software?

My camera is Lumix FZ 1000So far I use Premiere Elements 11. Is this programm compatible with mp4 4K?In the internet I saw a hint, that this is not true for PE 14, but may be for PE 13.What about PE 11, PE 15?Ludger Kaup

I created a project with version 15 on my Dell desktop.  Someone else edited the project on his MacBook Pro also with Premier Elements version 15.  Now when I try to open the project this is what I get.  The media never renders.  This has happened with all the projects edited on the Mac.  The project do not have more than 3 minutes of video.

Hi,When importing 4k with resolution 4096x2160 it goes as planned when looking at the info of the imported file inside PE 15. Then when trying to export to the same format 4k [4096x2160] PE15 says that the source is of a reason 4k [3840x2160] and there is no options for exporting to 4096x2160.My questions are:- I understand if the source is only 4k [3840x2160] I cannot export to larger format, but why does PE 15 change the source file from originally 4096x2160 to 3840x2160 in export mode?- Could it be that PE 15 does not support 4096x2160?

I have seen several exampleswhere the opening credit Title Screen has a blue background. How do I acheive this effect?Thanks for any help 

I was gladly using 14 with no problems but I was working on an important video project, so I thought I'd upgrade to 15. So far, it's been a mistake.It's constantly shutting down (which it did again while I was writing this) I read elsewhere that I should turn off the autosave and that will fix it....but it did...then it didn't.Any suggestions?

Hi, I find the dark gray interface of Premiere Elements 14 too dark and I'd like to make a lighter color workspace, maybe even mostly white with black text, make it much easier to see and read. How can I  lighten the interface workspace color?

Hi, I'm very new to this(just started today. I want to ad a title in the first 5sec of my video just down the the corner that will be there as the video is starting. When I click on the titles and text tab there's lots of titles to pick from but no text templates? Any help would be great.Thanks

I'm running PRE11 on a 2012 iMac 3.4 with 1.2 T fusion drive, an external SSD and 16mb of RAM. The program is fine and runs blisteringly fast compared to the i5 iMac I just replaced. I use it to edit skydiving videos, each is about 6-7 minutes long with transitions, titles and slow motion added to the raw clips.On my i5 iMac, watching the activity monitor while rendering, it uses every bit of processing power to render and save the video and when the video is done rendering and ready to send off, Elements says it's finished, the video is done and the program stops. This whole process takes a little over four minutes.However, on my i7 it has a little processing power left over and the video is finished rendering after about two minutes but the task bar in Elements is only showing half done and it continues to run for about another three minutes. I know the video is done and saved because I can see the process has stopped in Activity Monitor and I have actually sent it off to the server

How do I get the captions that are on photos in a Photoshop elements 13 album to import to premiere elements 13?  In using the add media function selecting the elements organizer, then selecting the album to import, the photos are imported, but the captions are not.  I am running windows 10.ThanksTony

Under Edit >> Project Settings >> General, it is possible to set the Audio Display format to either "Audio Samples" or "Milliseconds".  But how does one get the timeline to actually display the duration using this Audio Display Format instead of the default Video Display Format?In Premiere Pro this is easily achieved by going to the Sequence Panel, clicking on the dropdown by the sequence name and selecting the "Show Audio Time Units" option.  However, I can find no equivalent command in Premiere Elements.

I n- have installed Premiere Element 12 on my new computer with Windows 12 but when i start it when he ask me to active him Windows stop it and said that a problem stop the programm. What to do???

Since Microsoft updating Windows 10 a week or so ago, my Premiere Elements 15 stops working every time I click on Project Assets.  I undid the update and the program worked, but the next morning the update was reinstalled.  Anyone have a solution?

I have premier elements 3.0 installed but if I try to burn dvd it tells me I have no burner installed, when I try to share a film I get a message asking for an activation key to install MPEG3 component, I follow the link provided to retrieve the code which then tells me the site is not available.

If I have two video clips playing at once, i.e. a split screen or an overlay for example, everything is fine.  If I use the "Lighting" adjustment on the clip playing in the Video1 channel then also everything is fine.  If I then make a "Lighting" adjustment to the clip in Video2 then the problem occurs .  The clip in Video2 will flicker this adjustment on and off quickly.I've updated my video drivers to the latest version and also tried with Video Hardware Acceleration off to no avail.   This problem occurs during normal playback i.e live playback and on a export.All video was shot at 25fps on a Canon 5D mk2 at 1080p.Project settings:Editing mode: DSLRFrame size 1920 x 1080Pixel aspect ratio:  squareFields: No fields (progressive scan)Display format: 25 fpsVersion 14.1Please help!

I'm doing a slide show and I was wondering if I can apply time stretch to one still image and then copy and paste it to each additional image in the show. Or is there an easier way to edit for time? I'm trying to fit the music time of the show. Thanks.

When I render a video project in Premier Elements 14 the resulting video has many, many, vertical lines in it.  The original project created over 10 years ago is fine (i.e. no lines).  I've tried it on multiple projects and the results are the same.  The project is only 15 minutes in length.  I am running on a Dell computer with Windows 10.  I tried checking "Maximum Bit Depth" in Edit/Project Settings/Video Render but it did not eliminate the resulting vertical lines.  Am I doing something wrong?

Hello all,I have an issue and I hope somebody can help me here.I have recorded zillion video's from my kids and holidays and now bought the Premiere Elements 15 to start making some nice movies from them. All short video files are .mpg files. When I import drag/drop these on to the timeline, I get no audiotrack with it. No sound at all.What needs to be done to be able to drag and drop these and get some audio with it?It are all short video's from couple of seconds to minutes. Can anybody help? I'm using Windows 10 and the system is just a few months old. Maybe download some extra codecs? How and where?Many thanks!Kind regards, Wesley
