m2ts file no sound in PE 2022

Greetings,

Just getting started with PE 2022. I put an m2ts file into PE 2022 but when I play it to edit it in PE 2022 there is not soound. When I play that file in other programs the sound is fine. How do I get the sound track into PE 2022? Do I have to convert it to a differnt file first to edit it with sound?

I agree with John. Go to the program's Edit menu and select Preferences. On Audio Hardware page, try changing the input and/or output settings and see if that makes a difference.
