why does premiere elements 12 load your video on the side instead of correct as shot?

    I think the question is about rotation not frame rates. 

    For the Roger the OP, if one is not displayed horizontally, select it on the timeline, right click on it and select rotate 90 degrees.

    Running the video through Handbrake may also solve the rotated video issue.

    For the Roger the OP, if one is not displayed horizontally, select it on the timeline, right click on it and select rotate 90 degrees.

    That probably is a better solution.

    It never has on mine.  What is your camera and can you describe your workflow a little more?
