Premiere Elements 2021 RTX 3080 support

I have just invested a lot of money on an RTX 3080 because it is supposed to be supported for GPU acceleration. To my surprise it says detected card is RTX 3080 but says detected graphics processor is unsupported. Whats going on? Is it supported like Adobe says it is, or isn't it?

I just updated to the latest Nvidia drivers and problem solved. Must have been an issue with the previous driver.

I think John is probably right.  Experimenting with different drivers will probably fix the issue.  It must me an awkward dilema to code a product to fit a GPU and driver then have the driver change after the product is distributed!

Nobody in a user group like this will be able to know what is going on.  If it were me I would initiate a 'chat' session with Adobe technitions.  The easiest way to do that is from the Help menu with"Online Support".  It will take you to a website.  On the website there is a shortcut in the lower right corner that will start the session.
