Hi folks,

I was just importing some footage from my SONY A7IV and saw it was really dark. I am using the 100M 10bit 4:2:2 4k, 24p (definitely NOT interlaced) I found that zoomed way in, it has small vertical black stripes. I checked the alpha channel and it is striped as well. This doesnt appear in the windows movie player, or after effects! Media encoder really butchers transcoding to PRORES 422, as it has the stripes as well. I'm so lost!

I've tried multiple SD cards, and don't think anything is wrong with the camera as the AE footage looks okay. What the heck could this be?

Ver 24.4.1

Welp, looks like it was an issue on 24.4.1. Updated to 24.5 and the issue is no longer present. Thanks!
