Question

1080p Seq not working properly 4k Seq is.

I am having what I believe to be a bug of an issue.

I made a Hyperlapse with JPEG images in Premiere Pro and was on my 3rd one with no issues. Upon following the same workflow of my other 2 I have done today I am now stuck. I made my initial Hyperlapse in a 4k Seq with no issues in rendering or with my effects (warp stabilizer only).

I exported my 4k with no issues. and then copy and pasted the clips and moved them to my 1080p Sequence like I normally do. However it will only render half of the clip.

In addition I tried making the hyperlapse from scratch in 1080p and I get an error message when adding the warp stabilizer I haven't seen (same images that worked in 4k just scaled beforehand).

I also tried converting my 4k sequence to 1080p but it still will only render halfway (greenbar only shows for half the clip then the remaining half is blurry)

Images for reference. Thank you!

Can you try nesting to 1080p rather than copy and pasting?

I know in the past I have had problems trying to use advanced effects when the footage resolution doesn't match the sequence resolution.

For some reason whenever I try working with the images fresh on a 1080p sequence I get this issue once I add the effect (same effect that worked with no problem at 4k).

The good news is I was able to get the copied 4k sequence files to export at 1080p with no issues in quality but I would still like to figure out why the 1080p sequence is giving me issues when the 4k sequence is not.

In my experience, some advanced effects (warp stabilizer) don't like to work when the image has been scaled down (from 4k to HD).

In that case, I build a 4K sequence and then place that sequence into an HD sequence and apply the effect.

Post your sequence settings and export settings panels.

<<I exported my 4k with no issues. and then copy and pasted the clips and moved them to my 1080p Sequence like I normally do. However it will only render half of the clip>>

Are the exported 4K and is it those 4K clips you copy into a 1080p timeline? You're loosing me there. If that was the case, then the 4k clips would need to have their scale property set to 50%. Did you do that along the way?

Here  are 3 screenshots

1st: 1080p Sequence only showing the render line for half of the clip

2nd: 4k sequence I am having no issues with

3rd: 1080p sequence that is only showing half of the clip rendering

I just tried exporting at 1080p as is and the export seems fine so I am just trying to figure out why only half of the preview clip on the sequence will render (pic 1)

Might be containing images with too much motion, hence the cropping.

Doesn't make sense to me when It will work on a 4k sequence with the same settings on the effect and images.
