12.0.0 project won't open in 12.0.1

I've got a project at 46MB that won't open after the update.  It almost gets there, hangs, then delivers the "not enough RAM" error, and the system pauses Premiere for you to free up RAM.  Thank goodness I was able to downgrade.  I'm on X 10.12.6 with a 12-core tower.  Had the same issue on two similar machines, downgraded both, fixed both.  I can, however, open everything else I tried while on 12.0.1.  Anyone have a similar issue?
