12.1.2 works really choppy

I updated to 12.1.2, and all my footage looks choppy because of this bad update, now i cant roll back to 12.1.1 and have to work with this program that looks like a powerpoint presentation, is there a way to roll back? 12.1.1 worked fine, 12.1.2 is horrible
