12 bit ProRes nlog footage from NikonZ6III is always automatically converted to rec.709 on import.

I have been trying to import 12 bit ProRes raw footage from my NikonZ6III and every time it is automatically converted to rec.709. I am able to import the footage fine in Davinci (it shows the correct flat log profile). I have tried everything that has been suggested -- disabling the Color Management Auto Detection in the project settings, overriding the media color space of my clips, downloading Apple Pro Video Formats. Nothing has worked so far. Has anyone run into this issue? Strangely, 10 bit ProRes raw footage imports just fine.

    Hi,

    Could you let us know which version of Premiere Pro you're using (Help > About Premiere Pro) and whether you're on macOS or Windows?

    Since you mentioned that 10-bit ProRes RAW imports correctly but 12-bit ProRes RAW is automatically being displayed as Rec. 709, it would also be helpful to know whether this behavior started after updating Premiere Pro or if you've always seen it with footage from the Z6III.

    If you're able to share a short sample clip, the community can try to reproduce the issue.

    Hi Kevin,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I am currently using version 26.3 on macOS. I updated premiere recently and had never attempted to edit 12-bit footage previously. The 10-bit footage continues to function as expected post-update. What would be the best way to share a sample clip? The maximum file attachment size on here is 50mb and even a few seconds of the 12-bit footage makes for a much larger file.
