128kbit_AAC.m4a File Plays Audio in Premiere, But Not When Exported
Hello everyone,
I was creating a montage for personal use and downloaded some YouTube videos via JDownloader 2, but when doing so some of the files downloded are .mp4 and others are .m4a. Both of these files output audio and work just fine everywhere I have tested them, including in my timline and composition within Premiere Pro 2020 CC. However, when I exported the video there was nothing but glitchy, terrible sounds from the AAC.m4a files. I could just find a different version of the song that outputs a .mp4, but I am curious as to why the AAC.m4a exports this way despite it being a supported file format according to https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/supported-file-formats.html.
Is there some kind of setting I missed when exporting or is there a some kind of plugin that is required?
Thanks,
DJ
