24.5 slows and unresponsive

I installed 24.5, and instantly went back to the previous version. It continually slows down. Every time I make an edit, then hit play, the pause to start back up gets longer and longer.  

Luckily, it hasn't crashed, but it's gotten to the grey screen a few times. 

2nd time I have installed 24.5. I have cleared all caches, and reset settings. I have removed all 3rd party apps, and still doing the same thing. It works fine at first, then slows. 

I have to roll back to 24.4.1 because I cannot edit like this. 

Windows 11 on Core i9 Intel. NVIDIA 3070 graphics.
