Hallo,

my english is not very good, but I try it

I habe tow questions. I use Premiere Pro CC 2017. My projects always have 50fps, PAL.

Now I habe a project with 3 Cameras. 2 of them have 50fps, the third camera have 29.97fps.

The problem ist, that the sound from the 29.97fps Cam is at the beginning ok. But at the Middle the sound cames to late and at the and its more later.

Question 1:

What can I do? I want to render in 50fps and I want, that the sound is synchron.

I habe open a new project. In the new project i habe always put in the 29.97fps. But the sound is still not synchron.

Question 2:

Where can I switch the projects between PAL and NTSC? Probably I have set at the very beginning PAL. And now I do not know where I can change this.

I hope you understand me.

    Hi Markus,

ad 1. different reasons are possible for your audio-mismatch:

    - you have footage out of a mobile-phone (with variable framerate) -> fix framerate with handbrake

    - you have seperate audio, and ext audio was recorded with 44 KHz -> fix in media encoder (44 to 48 KHz)

    - ...

Best for a good hint is, if we know, what model the camera is with async audio?!

ad 2. go to menu -> timeline -> tl-preferences and change the settings to the framerate you want to preview, all final settings are done on export in Premiere Pro.

    Hi,

    Cam 1: Canon 80D (DSLR) 50fps

    Cam 2: Sony PJ620 (Camcoder) 50fps

    Cam 3: Samsung A3 2016 (Mobile Phone) 29.97 fps

When I open Sony Vegas and put all in, I dont have this Problem. I allways have this problem in Premiere Pro.

Premiere cannot handle footage with variable framerate such a footage from a phone.

Only way to fix this is to convert with HandBrake  cam3 to mp4 with constant framerate before bringing it into Pr.
