Hey there everyone. Looking to you fine and knowledgable folks to find out if graphical user interfaces (GUI), from third party vendors (universal audio, slate, waves..etc) can be seen and used within Premiere Pro? I'd like to see each plugins interface just as I would if I pulled them up in any modern day DAW (digital audio workstation....like Pro Tools, Studio One, Logic Pro..etc). If this can be accomplished within Premiere Pro, I'd love to find out how. Thanks so much.

I've found the new version of Premiere 2018 has buggered up in terms of working with VST's - reopeneing projects that have had painstaking audio tweaking with EQ and mastering are wiped clean and you have to go through a tedious VST reinstallation process.

In terms of how the GUI looks - most waves plugins are tiny, and adjusting parameters is a pain. I work with a 4k screen and whether it's connected or not 3rd party VST's look whack in Premiere.

I can't speak to specifics plug-ins, but yes, many do call up their own GUI.

Thanks for the reply Jim! I’d love to test this out on my end, to see if my settings are all correct. Would you happen to know 2-3 plugins which call up their own gui?

You could maybe try some Waves plug-ins.
