4-Color Gradient Showing Black

I used to be able to use 4-Color Gradient on my Color Matte layers without any issues whatsoever, but since the latest update, it seems like it is broken and it shows black no matter when or where I apply the effect to. I tried reapplying it multiple times, cleared caches etc. Also, all of my previous projects which had it now lost it too, they all show it black. Any reasons why or ways to fix?

Hello and no, none of these helped BUT it was because it was MY FAULT and so I just wanted to leave it here for anyone who doesn't realizes it like me in the future can also be reminded to check if the "Global FX Mute" was selected on the program monitor. That was my issue and I could not view any effects in real time on my sequence until I realized that it had nothing to do with my GPU or Premiere Pro... The only weird thing about this was that it somehow showed the effects when I started the app with Software Accelaration which confused me into thinking that it was an error on PP side... So, yeah, once again, check the GLOBAL FX MUTE settings guys, sometimes even a simple misclick can cause this...

Hey there, did any of the suggestions in this thread help? Resetting preferences would be my suggestions. Peru_Bob shared a link on how to do that.

Let us know if you need any more assistance,

Caroline

Does it work OK if you open a project in an older version?

What graphics card and driver?

What OS?
