4 hours of markers disappeared!
When building a master or either shoot footage or a feature film w/ splits I create a sequence with each segment (typically films audio are delivered in pieces for sync) in order to sync audio instead of syncing then exporting a brand new piece of media for hours and hours.
Once I build and sync the master I then screen the sequence and build my marker notes in the sequence. I have done this for years.
Today, after spending hours screening yesterday, my markers on my timeline completely disappeared in my shared project. No one has touched it except me. I browsed autosaves and previous versions, poof, still gone.
I am on a deadline so I took my losses and began pulling from another sequence. I brought it into the source monitor, poof, gone.
Apparently Adobe has once again screwed up a relatively basic function. It appears that when BRINGING THE SEQUENCE INTO THE SOURCE MONITOR PREMIERE DELETES ALL RECORD OF ANY MARKERS.
So I lost a weeks worth of screening because I wanted to edit it.
I am running version 12.1.1 (Build 10), which I just updated after the problem because thought that could fix the problem. It didn't.
