Hi,

I just uploaded the last version of premiere pro 2020 (V14.1).

When i open my project, my whole files are in "media pending".

I really need you to figure it out. I have to get back my project ASAP.

Do you think it could come from that last upload?

Best regards.

Sorry for the wait, but Premiere Pro 14.2 has just shipped and contains the fix for legacy Titles with GPU Renderer.

I'm back at 14.0.4 and everythings works fine, but... every time I open my computer Adobe CC asks me to update the Premiere Pro. I switched off the automatic update and I know that I shouldn't update, but what about those who don't know and who keep their updates automatic? This drastically faulty update should long ago disappear!!!

This worked for me. I also appreciate your mention of backing down a version and providing the way to do it. Thanks much!

How? Do you have a link for that?

if I open a current project from 14.1 in the Beta 14.2 and work on the project there, will I be able to migrate backwards to 14.1 and open the latest prjoect version?

I've tried switching to Mercury Playback Software Only and the same low level excepetion.......errors continue. This HAS NOT solved the problem at ALL. You take our $53 bucks every month and then you put  out an upgrade that no one was clamoring for that bogs down our current project flows while we try to meet deadlines or lose our clients in a time of cisis in the country and this industry, sounds like trumpism to me.  Adobe get your damn act together  or stop billing us the monthly fee.

Another update, when I exported this project it took over 10 hours via Media Encoder no matter which Mercury Playback Engine option I selected. And when I opened the exported mp4 movie, a lot of my After Effects treated clips for documents were all messed up, for example the vignette effect was worn and in some instance caused a stobing during playback. This is so F'd up.

I have done all the changes and even roled back to the previous software version and the problem still persists for me as well. So as far as I'm concerned, this forum thread is not 'Solved'

This error is pretty obnoxious.  So we can't add titles anymore.  That legacy title tool has been glitchy from the start and always resets to an obnoxious layout.  I get the playback error (5, 79, and a few others).  I tried clearing my prefrences, reinstalling...  Nothing works.  Trying to get a project out today and this is pretty epic

If changing to Software Only Renderer does not meet your needs, you can go back to Premiere Pro 14.0.4 to continue your work. Click on More Options (...) on the bottom right of the Premiere Pro app in Creative Cloud and choose Other versions.

I am having the same issue with the low level exception stuff.  I have four projects pending and I cannot even get the first one to play on my timeline!!! I am a teacher whose production class has totally gone online because of COVID-19 concerns.  Now I cannot get any work done.  I need help getting this fixed ASAP!

Software rendering settings cleared this error for me. Thank you.

too bad you loose the GPU (cuda). Better reupload the V14.0.4.

Just reporting the same issue too. Please notify when it's fixed. Till then, with this workaround...
