A simple click in the Effects workspace increases CPU utilization

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the Effects workspace. A simple click cause a slowness in Premiere. The time line doesn't work well and the toolbar crashes. CPU usage grows to 70% and does not drop. A few minutes later in Effects, Premiere crashes. When a select any other workspace the problem disappears.  This only happens in Effects workspace.
