AAF export error: "Variable rate export is not supported"

I'm trying to export an AAF of my short film and I keep running into this error saying, "Variable rate export is not supported." I don't understand why I'm getting this error because all the audio is 48Khz and 24-bit. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?

I'm running Premiere 24.4.1 on Windows 11.

Is the video clip at that point VFR... variable frame rate, or CFR, constant frame rate?

If VFR, that's the problem. Convert to CFR in Handbrake or ShutterEncoder, replace the file in the project wiht the converted one.

Yes, there were clips with speed ramping and that was tripping it up. Thanks for your help, much appreciated 🙂

Ahh, speed ramps. Those are an issue for it seems all EDL/XML/AAF types of inter program transfers.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
