AAF Import Issue

I created an AAF file in Avid to export into Premiere.  They aren't importing into my Premiere project v. 14.0.2.  The status bar fills up and says importing, but then the bin is empty.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Thanks in advance for your help.

just an idea.  I've had problems with aafs and xmls but can't remember if I was going from Premiere or from Avid.  But, one thing that sometimes solved the problem was to import the files in DaVinci Resolve and then export them...  And it's available for free so no reason not to try it.  Another issue if my aged brain remembers correctly is that you needed to make sure that the source files had reel numbers.   Depending how the material was imported or digitized, that wasn't always the case.

JJ,

This article contains some pretty specific info about how you export the AAF from Avid. Can you comb through that and let me know if any of the steps were missed and if they helped you or not?

Thank You,
Kevin
