About two "Transform" effects

Premiere Pro 2021 has two Transform effects.

clip.components [i] .matchName
→ AE.ADBE Geometry
or
→ AE.ADBE Geometry2

On the surface, you can see the difference between whether the Uniform Scale is checked or not.
Is there any other difference? And why are there two?
