Accidentally deleted Premiere Timeline. Any way to recover?

Hey,

I just realized I've deleted 45 minutes off of my timeline in Premiere. This has occured some days in the past and all my autosave files do not contain the deleted timeline either.

My question is -- is there any other location on my computer where a previous version of my Premiere Project file could still be available? Perhaps a cache folder or temp folder somewhere?

I am on Windows 11, latest Premiere version.

Thank you!

The Autosave is your only option here. You should check your autosave preferences and perhaps have it autosave more frequently. Frequently duplicating your timeline to make versions as you work through an edit is another way to keep backups. If this is happening frequently, then you should adjust how you work, as this isn't normal.

Thank you all for the replies.
At least I had an Mp4 export of this timeline that I can work with.

If anybody here is from the Premiere team, I'd like to request this feature where if you delete a larger number of clips from your timeline, there should be a prompt to confirm. Or alternatively when you are deleting clips that are not visibile in your current timeline at your current zoom level, there should be a prompt.

If the auto save is the same as your main project and you do not have backups then alas.

Might want to make a habit of making a save as with an unique name after each session.
