Accidentally had Video Stabilisation on the whole trip... anything I can still do to fix it?

So I just got a new phone for my vacation to Japan.
A Samsung Galaxy S23.

I practiced a bit and then went on vacation to Japan.

 

But without realizing it I accidentally had Video Stabilisation on the whole trip. (I didnt even know what it was sadly)

And now all videos where I am panning the camera (and thats 95%) , have this jittery shocky flashy effect when I pan past people, lines, lights etc.

 

Does anyone have experience with this or any way to do damage control on these video's with Premier Pro?

Hmmm.... I did some tests and its no the stabilisation because it does it without too.

I think my brand new S23 just have a horrible (or possibly broken) camera..

It seems that you have filmed with a frame rate at 24/25/30 fps rather than 50 or 60 fps. Low frame rates give you more stutter in the footage compared to the smooth footage you get when you shoot with a higher frame rate such as 50 or 60 fps.

There's nothing wrong with the phone. 

 

What you have in those samples is a very high shutter speed (not to be confused with frames per second) which eliminates any motion blur when people go by.  It looks unnatural.  (For a good example of how to deliberately use this artistically, see "Saving Private Ryan.")

 

Go into Video Pro Mode on your phone.  You can reduce the ISO and/or the shutter speed (1/50-1/60 usually looks normal) which will introduce motion blur and reduce the stuttering.  Play around until you find something pleasing.
