Adaptive Noise Reduction delay

Can anyone help. I'm adding the adaptive noise plugin to clips on my timeline but it seems to have a 2 second delay before the filter works. I've tried workarounds from other editor suggestions like adding the plug in to the track instead of the clips and giving a 2 second lead in on the audio reducing the volume but that doesn't work. I've tried nesting, making separate sequences, exporting clean tracks and then adding the plugin but it seems to recognise audio stops and starts. Nothing is working. I contacted Adobe and did a remote session and even they couldn't fix it. in fact the tried it there end and it didn't work.

Grab your audio clip and move it to an unused audio track. Extend the start. Apply the adaptive NR. Tune the ANR. Right click, render and replace. Trim the start of the clip to the original start point and insert back to the original position.

If you have it I would do the audio sweetening in Audition, it works so much better than Premiere.
