Question

Add a file to bin, then: An input violation has occurred!

I'm creating a video with an arrangement of photos and videos that will be playing on loop. Relatively simple until Premier consistently crashes when adding an item that's 1080px tall by 4px wide.

I'm trying to add an element that would act as an image separator. I've tried adding as a color matte (crash), eps (crash) and transparent png (crash).

It doesn't even seem to originate from Premier. The message I get is:

[/PPro13.1/releases/shared/adobe/MediaCore/MediaLayer/VideoRenderer/Src/RenderFrameRequest.cpp-136]

follow by a red window reading:

An input violation has occurred!

And then an Adobe generated window saying:

Sorry, a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro CC to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project. (<which it doesn't)

I've also tried recreating the project. It's specifically related to an item of size it doesn't agree with (from my point of view at least).

I'm unsure of a resolution at this point but I'm on a tight deadline (naturally).

Update: I used a shape layer instead, but I still think this is a problem.
