Question

Add text and logos to white frame

Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this question. I am editing my video in Premiere Pro CC 2018 and would like the opening 5-6 seconds of the video to be the video title and 2 logos on a white background.

I was able to create a white background frame using the color matte option, and add text and logos. However, after I play back my video, the text and logos become distorted and the text partially disappears. The text also continues onto the next frames of my video even though there's nothing to indicate that the text continues to overlap with the other frames in my workspace.

If someone could tell me the correct way to add text and graphics to a white background frame that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks.

Hey Gabs555,

Sorry for your issue!

What is the exact version of Premiere Pro that you're working in? FAQ: How to find the exact version of Premiere Pro you're using?

However, after I play back my video, the text and logos become distorted and the text partially disappears. The text also continues onto the next frames of my video even though there's nothing to indicate that the text continues to overlap with the other frames in my workspace.

Many users have encountered a strange issue working with PNG files in the latest version of Premiere Pro (12.1).

Can you provide more details about your media and show us a screenshot of your Premiere Pro workspace? I suspect you're hitting the same bug as others.

If you have a previous version of Premiere Pro installed on your machine, test if you are running into the same issue there. This will help us isolate the issue.

Thanks,

Rameez

I'm not having any problem with this using version 12.1 on Windows 10 Pro (1709).

Post up a screen shot so we can see what you see.
