Adjustement layers or text clips only 1-frame long

Hello,

I have Premiere Pro version 22.1.2, and for a few weeks now, when I insert a text clip or drag on my timeline a newly created adjustment layer, it appears as only 1 single frame in lenght. I can obviously then extend it, but it makes it difficult to initially seek and find the clip on my timeline, especially for longer projects.

Any ideas why this might be happening?
