Adjusting a Nested sequence while viewing the Program where the Nest is referenced

I need to view the main Sequence in the Program (or other) monitor while making adjustments to the Nested sequence referenced in the main sequence. When I click on the Nested sequence, the program monitor (naturally) switches back to that view. So I’m adjusting blindly. Seems like a common use case with no apparent solution. Please help!

Open the nest from the project window in the source monitor: Gang Source and Program.

this will give a live update

While making what adjustments? Editing the clip ends, audio changes, what?

well anything. but say i have a title on track 2 and a blur on track 1, in a nested sequence. that nest is positioned over some video on my main program. but if i try to adjust the blur on the nest, i can’t view what it looks like on the program
same would go for adjusting any parameters to any effect in a nest, while wanting to see what it looks like on the program where the nested sequence is placed.
