Hello, Recently ran into an similar issue to others but cant find anyone with the exact issue im having. Im trying to create a simple spin transition preset, im using premiere pro 2020.

I have my 2 clips on the timeline, and adjusment layer above them with my replicate, 4x mirrors, and a transform effect. the scale works on the transform effect the issue arrises when i try to keyframe the rotation, i can freely rotate the clips without the keyframes but as soon as i add them nothing happens. i can see the dial under the transform - rotation spining but the clips dont move. any help would be appreciated.

Apply the transform scale in a separate AL.

Have you tried nesting before adding the keyframes? I think the processing order is an issue here.

tried that with no success, thank you for your comment though. i think the older version may have been the issue as ive just tried to make the exact same transition in a new version and have no issue.

Hi @Stuart35197380v0b6,

Thanks for writing in. I saw your screenshot. Thanks for that. Can you share more info about your system and media? Have a you tried a more current version of Premiere Pro? Have you tried transcoding the media? Any other details you can give about your workflow, dimensions of the adjustment layers, sequence settings, and anything else of note? I hope we can help. I apologize for the weird behavior.

Thanks,

Kevin

I tried a newer version of Premiere Pro and it worked perfectly, i had stuck with the older version for as long as i had because I experienced a lot of slowdown whilst editing on newer versions though I recently bought a new PC and it seems to run fine on it, thank you!
