Question

Adjustment layer not 'saving' effects that are added in Lumetri Colour

Hello – I have an issue in Premiere which is driving me nuts.

I'm working on an edit with multiple clips and above each clip in another track is an adjustment layer with Lumetri Colour on that adjustment layer.

I'm working away, adding my Colour Correction first and move along the timeline to the next clip and so on. I then go back to an earlier clip and none of the slider values (Exposure, Contrast, White, Black for example) have 'saved'. The values have reverted to 0 / 100 or what ever is the default value.

I've checked the following:

  • Master FX icon
  • User error making the edits to the adjustment layer

Is there something I'm missing here, it's so frustrating!

Hi @adamduckett Are you using Lumetri presets you've saved? If so there is a known issue with presets created in Premiere Pro 24.1 that can lead to strange behavior like this. You should update to Premiere Pro 24.2.1, then delete and re-create any presets that were created in 24.1. Presets from before 24.1 are unaffected.

To add some further detail.

If I tweak the values by tabbing around the panel and using my up and down arrow keys, this results in the numbers not saving. Is it best to use the cursor over the slides to manually tweak?

Hi @adamduckett,

Thanks for the message. I tried to reproduce your issue but I could not. Sounds very frustrating. Have you tried the same thing in another sequence? How about another project? Let the community know. I hope we can help you.

Thanks,
Kevin
