Question

adjustment layers Mask not tracking in premiere pro cc 2018

I am trying to add an adjustment Layer to track faces with a Mask but it wont track even if I do it manually

I had a 40 minutes video that I had to blur out faces for my work and I had to do it all on one layer because the ajustment layers would not work.

What is it that I am doing wrong?

Please advise

Merci

I think 40 minutes is way to long for a mask.

You probably have to do the masking in sections.

(You can add the blur effect to an adjustment layer).

It's not the way it works. An adujstement layer has no pixel to track inside.

You have to apply your blur effect on the layer you want to track. Add a mask to the blur FX. Personnaly I don't use the tracking fonction since I think is faster to set up a bunch of keyframe manualy.
