Adobe Crashes when trying to use the Convolution Reverb effect

Everytime I try to use the Convolution Reverb on a clip or track on either Audition or Premeier My computer Completly crashes with either the blue screen of Death or just blacksout. All my drivers are up to date and everything on my computer works fine but anytime I try to use a lot of audio effects specifically the convolution reverb Adobe freezes up and crash my computer. I can't render anything with the effect on and if I try to just play it it'll play for a little while and crash eventually. This seems like some type of coding error on Adobes behalf? Either way THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!

The first thing I would try is to use the default Windows options rather than the Realtek drivers. Is that possible? You might have to uninstall the realtek drivers.

Not having any issues here with audio effects including Convo-Reverb on my laptop or desktop. Ann's correct, that normally indicates a hardware issue on that computer.

So ... give some information so we can try to help troubleshoot. What hardware do you have ... computer, any sound card or attached sound gear especially. And ... what are your Audio hardware settings set to in Premiere?

BSOD usually means a hardware issue.
