I have, what is probably a fairly simple to those who are knowledgeable: Is Adobe Dynamic Link a separate standalone installable product, or is it now a capability that is embedded in other Adobe products like After Effects and Premier Pro? Thanks in advance!

it comes with the program you install. Has been so for many years.
It will only work if both programs are from the same version such as Pr and Ae.
